I'm Charlotte — a BASI-certified Pilates instructor based in North County San Diego, with Scandinavian roots. I help women feel at home in their bodies through movement, nutrition, and mindset.
I grew up between Stockholm and a small village on the northeast coast of Sweden. Summers in the forest, long quiet days, not a lot of rush. That pace stuck with me — it's part of how I move and how I teach.
Dancing came next — first professionally, then as a coach. I learned a lot about what bodies can do when you push them, and what happens when you don't leave room for recovery. Discipline, yes. But I also saw how quickly that breaks down without listening. I wanted a practice that could last a lifetime.
Pilates was the turning point. It's the only practice I've found that builds strength and stillness at the same time — precision, control, and something that actually lasts. Moving to North County San Diego added the other half: the sun, the openness, a completely different energy. Both show up in how I teach.
Pilates is the entry point, but the work goes wider. I program for women across every season of training — recovery, rebuilding, performance, perimenopause, postpartum, whatever they're in.
I think about nutrition and gut health because they shape how a body shows up on the reformer. I think about inflammation because it's the silent variable in so much of how women feel. I think about mindset and psychology because the stories women tell themselves about their bodies matter as much as the exercises they do.
The goal isn't transformation. It's building a relationship with your body that holds up over time — feeling good in the body you're in, not always chasing a version that's just ahead.
